Hello I’m about to configure and test Dovecot with Keycloak. When do you use the dovecot-oauth2.token.conf.ext and/or dovecot-oauth2.plain.conf.ext over dovecot-oauth2.token.conf.ext Thanks.

Hi Gary,

the token one is for logging in with OAUTH2 tokens, and the plain one is what you can use when you want to log in using username & password, and get token from keycloak, for example proxying or just authenticating the user from keycloak.
