Thanks, working as expected now. Was a bit tricky to adapt in a live system:

smtpd_recipient_restrictions =
 reject_unknown_recipient_domain,
 reject_non_fqdn_recipient,
 reject_unverified_recipient,
 permit_mynetworks,
 reject_unauth_destination,
 check_recipient_access hash:/etc/postfix/recipient_maintenance

Recipients are easier set up here compared to pcre, yes :)
