Now my expire-tool.sh looks like:
#!/bin/bash
MAIL_PLUGINS=${MAIL_PLUGINS//imap_quota/} 
MAIL_PLUGINS=${MAIL_PLUGINS//mail_log/}
exec ${0%.sh} "$@"

Maybe wiki should be updated to consider this trick ?
