[Dovecot] new mails don't always show

I have a standard FC5 install and I am getting exactly this error. I 
have certainly not changed anything in .procmailrc.  (See my earlier post).

Any ideas how I can overcome this problem - which is sounding rather 
like a bug in beta3 the more I hear about it.
