[Dovecot] Connection to server time out when deleting (moving to Trash)

I think the important thing to find out is what Dovecot is actually
doing:

http://wiki.dovecot.org/Debugging/ProcessTracing

Start tracing before starting the deletion, then mail the whole log to
me.
